This week I learned how to teach
vocabulary in CALL.First I should add image that want
to teach and make sound when learner click the picture or sentence. Then, I
learn how to create games. I must add
blank slide and click Interaction and then select learning interaction there are many game such
as word search, memory game and millionaire Finally, I learned the creating
matching exercise. It very fun when I create game for my student.
I've learnt about how to create the
test in Adobe Captivate 8. There are many kinds of test such as short answer,
multiple choice, true or false, fill in the blank, and matching. First, I
created short answer test, Second, I learn to created multiple choice test, Then,
I learn to create true or false test, Next, I learn to created fill in the
blank test, Finally, I learn to created matching test. This lesson makes me know the
new thing that I can apply to create new knowledge for many student in the
future.
This week, I learned about how to
create my CALL by using Adobe Captivate
8. First , I should create blank page that make student to sign up their name,
menu, and pre-test. Then I learnt how to make how to link flame with another
flame by jump to slide that I wanted the frame to connect. Furthermore , I learned
how to add picture, audio and video in this page. Finally, I think that this
program can create instruction media for student and help learner to learning
everywhere that them want.

This week I learn many Thai false friends word. It is very important when I learn the true meaning of each word. After that I do exercise about Thai false friends that Thai people used in many way. Then I present Applying Innovative Spirit to Multimedia Foreign Language Teaching that make me know Positive Effects of Multimedia on Foreign Language Teaching such as The saved time can be used for review. The
interactive learning environment it provides enables the learner.In Problems and Solutions Related to Multimedia Teaching is assisting the traditional
teaching pattern where the teacher takes the dominance in conveying knowledge with modern information
technology. The courseware used by teachers, simple in design and lacking in innovation and the methods can be resorted to solve the above problems such as combine course type with multimedia. Currently, large English classes mainly involve listening, speaking,
intensive reading and extensive reading. This article make me know new knowledge and can should the Multimedia for teaching in the future.
This week I learnt about how to collect the data into my corpus and the method to English language for teaching methodology such as Terminologies and collocation ,local grammar , style and content knowledge. I learnt about how diffidence between Thai corpus and English corpus that make me know the all of the words the native speaker used,
and tell me where to find all of the examples of that word. Concordances can
help me look for words in different contexts, and suggest other words that may
be related to the word I have learned.

Learning Log 5 (02Aug2016) This day , I learnt about introduction to corpus linguistics : concordances. Next, I learnt antconc by download free program from http://www.laurenceanthony.net/software.html. Then, I learn about how to build corpus y first step is copy the information, article or new from many website into notepad. Next step is open file into antconc that make me can check how manny word that I find in notepad.
Moreover I learn about regular article " Using blogs in the foreign language classroom:Encouraging Learner Independence and teacher ask me 7 importance question in this article is 1.What is the purpose of this project?
This project aimed at motivating students to take advantage of authentic environment outside the classroom in order to practice language skill and communicate with others.
2.How was the data collected?
Data were collected from learners through questionnaires and interviews conducted at the end of the term.
3.What were the results of pre-project questionnaire?
No students had a blog prior to the class,and only two learner had any knowledge of blogs. The learners responded that they wanted t communicate, make friend, develop writing skills, and learn about classmates
4.What were the results of post-project Questionnaire?
The learners spent 30 minutes/week working on the project.Three learner spent between 10-15 minutes,and two spent more than one hour blogging each week.
5.What are the advantages of blog?
The students enjoyed using blogs in the classroom.Eight learners agree that they enjoyed interacting.Seven learners cited that they thought their writing skill and improved from participating in the project.Five learners responded that the project assiste them in learning and using new vocabulary.Two learners practice in technology. Two learners thinking in English. One learner practice in grammar skill and last learner practice typing.
6.What are the disadvantages of blog?
1. picture software was too difficult to understand and use
2.The assignment was too time - consuming and or should have been done in class
3. The website was only in English and it was difficult to understand
4. Free- writing is too difficult
5. Teacher should give fewer topics and allow more free writing
6. Teacher should assign more assignments to be done on the blog
7. There should be a listening option where students can talk and share music.
7.What are the suggestions to improve the project?
Blogging is a writing activity and therefore it is not surprising that learners perceivved that the project helped their writing however is that every learner responded that the reason they took the course was to improve their speaking and comunication.
This day, I learn about Corpus Linguistics by Teacher Kriangkrai Vathanalaoha from Srinakharinwirot University. He make me know that a corpus is a collection of word and can used and apply for teaching language.The history of corpus began 19 century (AD.1897) The first corpus wrote about child diaries. There are 7 types of corpora 1.Special Corpus 2.General Corpus 3.Mutilingual Corpus 4.Parallel Corpus 5.Learner Corpus 6.Historical or Diachronic Corpus 7.Monitor Corpus After I learn about Processes in corpus linguistic there are concordances , collocations , distribution information, keywords and dispersion plots. This week have Linguistics and Language teaching seminar by Budsaba Kanoksilapatham , Ph. D. Professor English Department, Faculty of Arts,Silpakorn University Nakhon Pathom,Thailand.I'm interested in this seminar very much. I attended and joined with my friend that make me know about Teaching methods/pedagogy. The important thing to learn English language is only open my mind. English study could open doors for a better teacher. I learnt a lot of consideration point and knownledge.Frist, I learnt about linguistic competence and know the problem in Thai Education about poorly trained teacher, de- motivating for students but every problem have the way to solve. Second, I learnt phonetics and Phonology. I know practical fact the different sound between American English and British English such as (Z) in British English pronounciation : /zɛd/
(Z) in American Englishpronounciation : /ziː/
I know the true way to read the letter "H" ,consonant sound (think ,thank/ them , their) , and vowel sound (guess,said ,bread, friend, full,- foll / back-bag) = short vowel = long vowel
Third, I do intonation pretest 40 items
Although, I have many mistake in this test I never give up I will practice my English skill every day. I always thinking that It is never too late to learn a new thing. Fourth, I learn Morphology , a set of related words (discuss - discussion - discussant) ,how to stress the word ,Collocations and formulaic expression. Then, I learnt syntax (subjunctive vs indicative mood), Pragmatic, sociolinguitics (formal vs informal) , lexical semantics English verities such as eraser - rubber , pants - trousers, and biscuit - cracker = AE = BE Next, I learnt shades of meaning , slang such as kid, gross and flunk. Finally, I learnt connotation positive and negative such as fat is negative more than overweight. I know the discourse , corpus linguistics and linguistics research skill in topic subject verb agreement. Although it is a short time to seminar but it will be in my memory forever.
First of all, I learn about how to create and decorate blog by searching the HTML code in many websitesuch as clock code , calendar code and counter code. I can do and select many thing that I want. I know how to link friend in my blog. This a good way to share many knowledge to everyone. It have many benefit for learning in classroom and outclass. It can help me for life long learning all the place all the time. Then, my teacher taught me the way to put YouTube on the blog. It a good thing because Youtube is large search engine that have advantage for language learning. I can improve my English skill by see and listening video from YouTube. Next,I know how to write article on my blog and share to everybody. Finally, I read the regular articles from teacher is "Using blogs the Foreign Language classroom Encouraging learner independence" by Kathleen Pinkman that make me know the many benefit of the blog for language learning.
This dayI have learnt about how to using computer for teaching and studying English language. My teacher taught me about the first step for used blog by create a gmail account.
